The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation's mission is to eradicate breast cancer and improve the quality of women's health through innovative research, education, and advocacy. The Foundation, thanks to a grant from the Avon Foundation for Women, launched the Love/Avon Army of Women initiative in October 2008, with the goal of recruiting one million women who are willing to participate in research that focuses on the causes of breast cancer and how to prevent it. It was founded in 1971 by Joel and Eleanor Pelcyger in response to the need among Westside parents and teachers for stimulating, relevant programs taught using varied teaching methods and materials. PS#1 is known for teaching children basic academic and life skills while retaining their love, celebration, and joy of learning. “Pluralistic” stands for the comprehensive use of a variety of methods to stimulate and enhance learning, as well as diversity in race, income, religion, ability, and social class among its students.
Pulaski Roos Rugby

Started in 1998, Pulaski Rugby is a self-funded rugby club in Northeast Wisconsin. The organization and its founders are dedicated to teaching lifelong skills that serve both on and off the pitch. Club President, Francis Brunette, is proud of the high percentage of former players who voluntarily return to the field to mentor the younger players and to assist with coaching. With a commitment to community service, club members are active volunteers and lend a hand to area non-profit groups, namely Habitat for Humanity. The 2009 Pulaski Rugby team and their coaching staff--placed 1st in State and brought home the first State Championship Trophy for the club... Congratulations!

Mission Statement:
The Wheel to Walk Foundation is an organization that helps children and young adults with disabilities obtain medical equipment that is not provided by their insurance companies. We purchase equipment such as shower chairs, therapy bikes, special beds, communication devices, speech therapy and wheelchairs (to name a few), which insurance companies have denied. Our organization strongly believes that no child or young adult with special needs go without items that could improve the quality of his or her daily life.
